Russian President Vladimr Putin claimed a landslide victory in the country’s presidential elections extending his rule for another 6 years.
The 71 year old Vladimir Putin is set to embark on a new six-year term that will see him overtake Josef Stalin to become Russia’s longest-serving leader for more than 200 years if he completes this tenure.
Vladimir Putin, in his address to Russian citizens, thanked them for their votes as he is expected to win this year’s presidential election, with reportedly nearly 90% of the vote.
Among the first to react was Venezuela President MADURO who said, “With more than 87% of the vote, Putin has completely won the battle against the entire collective Western empire… our older brother has triumphed.”
Bolivia’s Evo Morales reacted saying, “With great joy we received the news of brother President Putin’s victory… despite the enormous campaigns by NATO and the US, the Russian people have spoken.”
“One Team!”, says Vladimir Putin as he thanked fellow Russians with 87.32% of votes cast in his favour and 95% of the counts finished. The incumbent Russian President was magnanimous in his praise. Mentioning Russian soldiers, he told that together they are “building one common will”.
Russian presidential race frontrunner and incumbent President Vladimir Putin believes that Russia’s future governmental structures should me made up of people who are now taking part in the special operation in Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin says that days before Alexey Navalny died, there were talks of exchanging him for prisoners in the West. NATO has boots on the ground in Ukraine, says Putin and added that Russia-NATO conflict is “one step away” from World War III.
I have every reason to believe that we do not see any democracy in the electoral processes in the US today, he said as if taunting the rival country.
