Russian artist’s view of Ganges river bank, painting expo to open from May 16

On May 16, the Russian House in New Delhi will host an opening of the exhibition by Russian artist Olga Levchenko.

It is inspired by India which the author has visited more than 15 times. Her best works, as she admits, were done on the banks of the mighty Ganges River.

You will see South Asia through her eyes — in her works realistic painting is intertwined with impressionism.

The opening ceremony will be followed with hi-tea.
