Russia-India Education Forum will take place in New Delhi on April 11-13. The forum will provide a unique opportunity for getting to know the Russian education system better and it will serve as a platform for dialogue and potential tie-ups between leading Russian and Indian universities.
A record number – 50 Russian higher education institutions are participating in the event. The move is being seen in context of the fact that globalisation is nearing its end and countries are increasingly trying to work with trusted partners.
Organized by the Russian Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo, Russian House in New Delhi, Russian Embassy in India and the Center for International Education (Russia), the three-day event will bring together vice-chancellors and deans, members of parliament and government officials, scientists and education practitioners, industry and business representatives. The forum will feature panel discussions and round tables with the focus on studies, scientific exchanges and research.
Russian embassy has put out that venues for the forum includes April 11 – Russian House in New Delhi (24, Firozeshah Rd, New Delhi, 110001) and April 12 – Le Méridien Hotel (Windsor Place, Janpath, Connaught Place, New Delhi, 110001). Timing is between 11 am to 6 pm.
